Center is Official Sports Therapy Center for Gulfstream’s Jockeys

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park announced today that the Miami Sports Chiropractic & Yoga Center has become the official sports therapy center for its jockeys.

Miami Sports Chiropractic & Yoga Center will work on-site at Gulfstream to rehabilitate sports injuries while its team focuses on natural pain management as well as improving athletic performance including physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, and nutrition counseling.

The newly expanded Aventura facility of Miami Sports Chiropractic & Yoga Center will also offer yoga and Pilates for injuries.

Eclipse Award-winning and Racing Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez said: “The work Dr. Doman does is very important and it’s vital for us. As athletes, we have to stay in shape and maintain nutrition and she helps a great deal with all of that. There’s several different treatments, including acupuncture, stretching, spinal alignment and yoga that can help us maintain strength and conditioning.”

Miami Sports Chiropractic & Yoga Center is the on-site chiropractic provider for the Dwyane Wade Basketball Camp and University of Miami Basketball Camp. Dr. Doman is the president of the Dade County Chiropractic Society.
